History of Uyum Savunma Endüstrisi A.Ş.

 

Founded in 1979 with the aim of manufacturing measuring transformers from epoxy resin and powdered silica, and beginning to serve the defense industry in 1986, our well-established company continues its journey today as Uyum Savunma Endüstrisi A.Ş. Our company successfully applies filament winding, resin transfer casting, open molding, and hand lay-up techniques, in addition to its unique composite structure production methods.

 

In 1988, our company participated in the European Stinger Joint Production Program, producing the 'Launch Tube' (made with filament winding) and the 'Gyro-Activator' (made on a specially designed electro-mechanical assembly line) as a subcontractor for EADS (DASA) - Germany. Furthermore, in 1998, we also began participating in the Eryx Anti-Tank Missile Joint Production Program, producing the 'Launch Tube' and 'Firing Box' as subcontractors for EADS (Aerospatiale, Matra Missiles) - France.

 

As a result of the successful work of the R&D Department established in 1995, our company was awarded the DTM R&D Award in 1996; it represented Türkiye in research projects on 'EUCLID CEPA RTP3 Advanced Materials'; and today, it continues to produce original composite products for leading organizations of our defense industry such as TÜBİTAK, ROKETSAN, ASELSAN and MKEK.
